Courtney Russ

Extension Agent, Family and Consumer Sciences

Courtney Russ serves as an Associate FCS Extension Agent for Charlottesville/Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson Counties.

As an FCS Extension Agent, Courtney works with the surrounding communities to promote better quality of life through educational programs focused on mental health and food equity.

Before coming to VCE, she taught Physical and Health Education in Egypt and Germany. She has been involved in developing inclusive sports programs and coached various sports for different age groups. She is also a licensed Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, and Health Coach.
